Imaginative Creature - A two part semester project
In my second year of Illustration studies, I explored designs of an evolved creature for a fantastical race, accompanied by a rider. My proposal was to create a creature based around speculative evolution: how would a scientifically realistic dragon look like? I based this animal mostly off of the extinct dinosaur " Yi Qi", since it had very dragon-like qualities, while adding some features from other animals.

Starting the winter semester of 2023, we were next given the task of modeling our creature design using Autodesk 3DSMax (base mesh) and Mudbox (sculpting). This was in preparation for painting a scene where the creature was living in
its' natural environment.
